Marble Square Brownies

These are the best. No really, you have to make these…and soon.

Marble Square Brownies

3/4 Cup water
1/2 Cup butter
3 T. cocoa powder
2 Cups flour
2 1/3 Cups sugar
3 eggs
1/2 Cup sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Cup chocolate chips
1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Liberally grease a jelly roll pan (One of the really large metal cookie sheets).

In saucepan, heat water, butter, and cocoa powder until melted and combined.
In large mixing bowl mix together, flour, 2 cups sugar, 2 eggs, and sour cream. Blend well.
Pour in cocoa, butter, and water mixture.
Blend in baking soda and salt.
Pour chocolate batter into jelly roll pan.
In a clean bowl, blend softened cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, and one egg. Drop by large spoonfuls randomly over chocolate batter. Swirl a marble pattern into the batter.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over brownies.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until brownies start to pull away from edge of pan.
Lick all of the bowls and hide several brownies in your cupboards so you will be ready for when your family finishes off the entire pan in one evening.
